Who We Are

We are a diverse group of photographers from the Jackson, Tennessee area. We have both amateurs and pro-amateurs, film photographers and digital photographers, college students and retirees. An interest in the art of photography is all that is required.

What We Do

The club meets at least once a month to discuss club business, upcoming events, and to provide members and guests with a chance to show their work in the monthly "show-and-tell" session. These meetings are also a great place to meet people who share an interest in the craft, and to trade information about equipment and shooting locations. The monthly meeting sometimes consists of a special program. Past programs include: tours of local professional photography studios, a tour of Mid-South Color Lab - a local professional lab, a photo safari at the Tulip Tree wedding chapel, a tour of a local camera shop, and more. The club also holds several workshops a year where members can get hands-on learning on the use of studio lighting equipment, digital tools such as Photoshop, and more.

When We Meet

Regular monthly meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month at 6:30. Workshops are held several times a year, typically on Saturdays.

Where We Meet

The regular monthly meeting is normally held at Regional Hospital in Jackson, Tennesse, off the North Highway 45 Bypass on Channing Way. If there is a special program, the meeting may be held at another pre-announced location.

If you are a guest thinking about attending a meeting, contact Tina Todd to find out where this month's meeting will be held.

What Our Dues Are

Guests are welcome and can attend a meeting to see if they like the club without paying any dues. Annual membership is $40 per individual and $20 for each additional family member. Student dues are $10 per year.
